How immunization is tested

Immunization items are schedules, live-vaccine rules, and catch-up in children who missed doses — easy marks if drilled, easy losses if guessed.
Know which vaccines are live and who cannot receive them (severe immunodeficiency, some pregnancy contexts). Post-exposure rabies/hepatitis/varicella appear as timed decisions.
Catch-up for a child arriving from abroad is a Gulf-relevant stem. Adverse events: what is coincidental vs a true contraindication to the next dose.
Which vaccines are live?
MMR, varicella, oral polio, BCG, rotavirus, yellow fever. Inactivated products are the ones you can usually still give when live is contraindicated.
Egg allergy and influenza — the old myth?
Most Gulf papers now follow the “still vaccinate, observe” line for mild egg allergy. Anaphylaxis to a prior dose is the real stop.
Missed doses — restart the course?
Usually continue; you do not restart the whole primary series because of a gap. The stem will specify age if a product is age-limited.
