About the strategy session

Practise

Start topic-wise — your weak areas drive what you practise next.

Personalized for you

Topic-Wise Practice

Your scores shape what you practise — specialty, subspecialty, then one topic at a time instead of a random pile.

New MCQs are added on the 1st and 15th of every month as new exam sittings are mapped.

72 seconds per question — same pace as a Gulf licensing paper.

  • Mini mock

    40 MCQs · ~48 min

Most Repeated

Repeats Vault — recall MCQs and themes that keep coming back on Gulf sittings.

High-Yield Questions

Ranked HYQ lane (~500) — repeat signals plus first-try misses. Not the same as Most Repeated.

More ways to practise

  • By exam month

One sitting at a time — useful when guidelines changed and old answers are traps.

  • By subject

Drill one subject when that is your weak side — Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Gynae, Ethics, Psychiatry.

  • Pictures

ECGs, scans, and images — alone or inside a mock.

  • Biostatistics

Screening, numbers, and public health — separate from clinical subjects.

Questions

What is GulfMedExams?

An online MCQ bank for doctors preparing for Gulf licensing exams. You practise by topic or mock, get a score report after each session, read explanations for every choice, and use live study guides tied to weak topics. New MCQs are added on the 1st and 15th of each month.

What is the difference between Most Repeated and High-Yield Questions?

Most Repeated is the recall vault — themes and MCQs that keep showing up on Gulf sittings. High-Yield Questions is a separate ranked set (~500) built from repeat data and first-try mistake patterns. They complement each other; they are not the same list.

What is in a score report?

After a mock or practice session you see pass/fail (where applicable), time, correct vs wrong, breakdown by subject and topic, focus topics from that sitting, and suggested next steps. Reports are saved in Score History so you can reopen them later.

How does GulfMedExams help my weak areas?

Topic-wise practice uses your scores to suggest what to fix next — by specialty and subspecialty, one topic at a time. Session score reports and Score History show whether those topics are improving after mocks and practice.

When are new MCQs added?

New MCQs are added on the 1st and 15th of every month as new exam sittings are mapped.

What is 100 High-Yield Topics study material?

A dedicated study hub for last-pass revision — high-yield exam points across Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Pediatrics, and Obstetrics & Gynaecology. It sits beside the deeper sub-specialty PDF guides in Study Material.

Is the expert study-plan call included?

A 1:1 Google Meet with Dr Mohsin — which Gulf exam, how many weeks you have, weak subjects, and how to use topic practice, mocks, and study material. Strategy session, not a sales lecture. Returning subscribers can add a session at checkout; the bank works on its own if you skip it.

Do explanations say why the wrong choices are wrong?

Yes. You get why the best choice fits, then a reason for every other choice, using the drug or diagnosis name — not “Option B”.

Are answers kept up to date with guidelines?

Keyed answers and explanations are updated to reflect the latest international guidelines.

What is Quick Preview?

A no-timer pass through a topic or your saved MCQs — all questions or incorrect only — with study notes one tap away.

What mock modes are there?

Mini mock: 40 questions in about 48 minutes. Full mock: 200 questions in 4 hours (Gulf GP paper length). Custom mock (Pro): you choose how many questions from each subject. All three use 72 seconds per question.

What are Themes (Light, Dark, Black)?

Screen appearance while you practise — not question content. Light feels like the exam screen, Dark is easier for long study, Black saves battery. The same setting works in practice, mocks, and Quick Preview.

Which exams is this for?

SMLE, DHA, DOH, MOH UAE, QCHP, OMSB, NHRA, and Kuwait MOH. GulfMedExams is independent and is not affiliated with Prometric or any licensing authority.
