MOH UAE Exam FAQs
What is the MOH exam UAE?
The MOH exam (Ministry of Health & Prevention, MOHAP) is the mandatory Prometric licensing exam for healthcare professionals seeking to practice in the Northern Emirates of the UAE (Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah). It is a separate exam from the DHA (Dubai) and DOH (Abu Dhabi) exams.
What is the MOH exam format?
The MOH exam consists of approximately 150 single-best-answer MCQs to be completed in 3 hours via Prometric computer-based testing. Questions are clinical scenario-based, covering Internal Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, and Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
What is the MOH exam passing score?
The MOHAP does not publish an official pass percentage. Based on candidate reports, the passing threshold is approximately 60–65% correct answers. Candidates should target ≥70% in practice for a comfortable margin.
Can I use DHA past papers to prepare for the MOH exam?
Yes. The MOH, DHA, and DOH exams overlap significantly in content and format — all use Prometric CBT with clinical scenario-based MCQs covering the same four core subjects. Past papers from any UAE exam are valuable preparation for all UAE licensing exams.
